Open competition for post-doc position as part of the Sonata BIS 10 project entitled "Simulations of physical systems using near future annealing technology"

We offer full-time employment for a maximum period of 4.5 years as part of the Sonata BIS 10 project entitled "Simulations of physical systems using near future annealing technology". The position was financed by the National Science Center. The research area of the project is quantum computing, quantum programming (including quantum annealing), artificial intelligence and simulations of physical systems using near-future annealing technology at the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Informatics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The employee will be delegated to the new project research group headed by Dr. B. Gardas, where he will be responsible for mentoring of young scientists employed in this project (including doctoral students), and for implementing of his own research program. The position does not involve any teaching duties.
