PACK Horizon Project meeting at IITiS PAN
On October 14th–16th we organized the PACK Horizon Project General Assembly. Consortium partners have come together to celebrate progress, exchange insights and shape the next phase of the journey. The goal of the project is to use smart sensors and a high-tech customs seal to track goods in real time, prevent tampering and reduce unnecessary truck stops. Using AI and connected devices, the developed system will alert authorities only when there’s a real issue, keeping trade moving smoothly.
Gliwice General Assembly allowed to summarize task completed within the first year of the project and plan the work for the remaining two years of the project. The main points of the agenda were:
- Reflecting on Year 1 achievements, milestones and lessons learned.
- Sharing progress across work packages and technical teams.
- Aligning priorities, identifying dependencies and addressing risks.
- Setting clear objectives and plans for the next few months
