Comparison of CHOKe and gCHOKe active queues managemant algirithms with the use of fluid flow approximation.

In the article we examine a model of TCP connection with Active Queue Managemanet in an intermediate IP router. We model a system where CHOKe or gCHOKe are the AQM policy. We use the fluid flow approximation technique to model the interactions between the set of TCP/UDP flows and two variants of the CHOKe algoithms. The obtained results confirm the superiority of these algorithms over a standard RED algorithm.
