Multimedia Systems Group

Coding, storing and transmissions of multimedia information and integration multimedia platforms are researched. The researches are focused on static images and movies coding in real-time systems including transmissions in computer and telecommunication networks with QoS. Multimedia databases are also developed especially an indexing and searching of them. The results are used in projecting and developing of multimedia internet systems with various kinds of services (on demand, teleconference, etc), e-learning systems and real-time embedded systems.
